Captain Rex Cooper - Funeral Details

Captain Rex Cooper's cousin, Alison Tumber, has asked that the following be circulated:

The funeral service and burial will take place on Tuesday 8th November, 2022, at 1130 am at St Aidan's Church, Thorneyburn. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association. All attendees will be invited to join the family for refreshments after the service at Tarset Village Hall.

It is sad to report the passing of two prominent members of the Association

Captain Rex Cooper OBE,MNM, died at his home in Tarset on Thursday 13 October 2022. He was the driving force in the founding of the Association and a past Chairman. Funeral details will be passed when known.
Captain Pat Thompson, OBE, died on Tuesday 11 October 2022. He built and maintained the Association web site and was a past Chairman. His funeral will be held on Friday 4 November at 1100 at Durham Crematorium. More details when known.
