PDB-RFAA visits RFA Tidespring at A&P Falmouth.
30 members of PDB-RFAA enjoyed a visit to RFA Tidespring at A&P Falmouth at the end of her 'customisation' phase and we were given an excellent tour of the vessel which lasted over 2 hours.
RFA Tidespring is a complex and sophisticated vessel - a new generation and a step change from previous RFA’s. RFA TIDESPRING is not just "First in Class", she is 1st Class. The three most used words by the staff on the visit appertaining to this fine ship were: "integrated systems", "built-in redundancy" and "space".
Thanks to the Captain and team for welcoming us aboard and for giving us a most interesting afternoon.
