Good Morning Gents, a few days ago we were invited to the Tideforce for a ship tour and pub lunch. I attach a couple of photos and a "dit" for the website.
On Sunday 17 July 2022 the Plymouth Branch were kindly invited by Captain Chris Clarke to a ships tour and lunch on board RFA Tideforce. The 12 members attending were made very welcome by Captain Clarke and Chief Officer Steve McMenemy along with several of the ships crew. There was much discussion on the differences between ships now and when us veterans were at sea. Lunch was a good ole' RFA curry or scampi. The flight deck was almost as large as a whole LSL! It was a really great day and our thanks to Captain Clarke, Steve and the crew for making it so enjoyable.
