Friday 8 May saw this anniversary celebrated in a low key way as we were all in lock down due to COVID - 19 virus but some members of the Plymouth and District Branch of the RFA Association managed to mark it in different ways.
Louis Bonnici and Stephen Tang paraded the two Merchant Navy Association standards in front of the new Merchant Navy Monument on Plymouth Hoe to observe the two minutes silence at 1100 on the day.
Richard Walker paraded the PDB standard outside his house for the two minutes silence.
Charlie Rogers paraded at home and Tony Pitt managed to display the SIR PERCIVALE Battle Ensign at home.
